Use the original cable included in your box. Many USB-C to USB-C cables from laptops or phones block the low-power current the scale needs and won't charge it. If you've been using a different cable, switch to the included one and charge for 2+ hours.
Keep the touch area completely dry—even light moisture or steam makes buttons trigger accidentally. Wipe the surface with a dry cloth before use. Avoid brushing the buttons with sleeves or towels while brewing. If buttons still don't work after drying, contact us for a replacement.
Turn off immediately and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. The scale isn't watertight, so avoid steam and water exposure. Use the included silicone mat under hot items (above 55°C/131°F). If the display or buttons act up after water contact, request a replacement below.
Place the scale on a hard, flat surface—soft or uneven surfaces cause inaccurate readings. Remove any items, press the tare/zero button, and test with a known weight. Don't tilt, shake, or move the scale while weighing. If readings are still inconsistent on a proper surface, we'll send a replacement.
The scale sleeps when idle to save battery. Start the timer or keep your brewing container on the platform during prep to prevent auto-off. For specific timer modes and settings, check the instruction manual that came with your scale or contact us if the behavior seems wrong.
If the quick fixes above don't solve your issue, we'll send a replacement at no cost. Keep your original scale.
